VAST Data is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer to support enterprise storage sales and customer deployments. The role includes assisting with evaluations, benchmarks, configurations, and installations; collaborating with R&D on product requirements and specifications; supporting sales strategy and customer accounts; providing technical leadership on storage products, distributed storage architectures, file systems, and DAS/NAS/SAN offerings; creating repeatable solution blueprints; developing systems and field engineering teams; and advising on Support organization development. Candidates need at least five years of experience supporting enterprise storage sales to large IT organizations, plus knowledge of unstructured data applications, analytics and web frameworks, virtualization, high-performance networking, and enterprise security, along with strong presentation and communication abilities.
