VAST Data is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer to support enterprise storage sales and customer deployments. The role involves customer evaluations and benchmarks, system configuration and installation, collaboration with R&D on product requirements, technical ownership of customer accounts, architecture blueprint creation, technical presentations, and helping develop system engineering and support organizations. Candidates need at least five years supporting sales of enterprise storage to large IT organizations, along with expertise in distributed storage, file systems, storage product architectures, virtualization, high-performance networking, enterprise security, analytics frameworks, and strong communication skills.
