Description
VAST Data is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer to support enterprise storage sales and customer deployments. The role includes assisting with evaluations, benchmarks, configurations, and installations; partnering with R&D on product requirements and specifications; contributing to sales strategy; providing technical leadership on storage products, distributed storage architectures, file systems, and DAS/NAS/SAN offerings; creating repeatable solution blueprints; developing system and field engineers; and advising on support organization development. Candidates need at least five years supporting enterprise storage sales to large IT organizations, knowledge of unstructured data applications, analytics and web frameworks, virtualization, high-performance networking, and enterprise security, plus strong presentation and communication skills.
