VAST Data is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer to support enterprise storage sales and customer deployments. The role involves customer evaluations and benchmarks, system configuration and installation, collaboration with R&D on product requirements and specifications, technical ownership within customer accounts, creation of repeatable solution architecture blueprints, and development of system and field engineering teams. Candidates need at least five years supporting enterprise storage sales to large IT organizations, along with expertise in distributed storage, file systems, DAS/NAS/SAN, unstructured data applications, analytics and web frameworks, virtualization, high-performance networking, and enterprise security, plus strong presentation and communication skills.
