Wabtec is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of its Trip Optimizer™ Energy Management product for locomotives. The role involves translating customer requirements, resolving technical specifications, coordinating with global cross-functional teams, leading technical and program reviews, participating in proposals, and evaluating freight automation solutions in field trials. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, or computer science, at least seven years of hands-on design, requirements development, and implementation experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
