Description
Amazon Robotics is hiring a Senior Interdisciplinary Systems Engineer to lead the design and integration of low-level control systems for complex robotic actuators and manipulators. The role involves impedance, force, and advanced motion control; MATLAB/Simulink modeling; control architecture and stability analysis; filters, observers, and signal-processing algorithms; cross-functional mechanical, electrical, and software integration; performance allocation; trade-space studies; and technical risk and failure-mode analysis. Candidates need at least five years of systems design or architecture experience, interdisciplinary product-design experience, a master’s degree in control theory, mathematics, robotics, or a similar field, and experience with mechanical robotics equipment, electrical-drive systems, and system-modeling software.
