Dispel is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer II to own the build, packaging, release, update, edge-processing, reliability, security, and quality systems for its on-premises Site Control appliance and Wicket fleet. The role focuses on reproducible builds, signed release artifacts, fleet rollouts, offline or air-gapped updates, local telemetry and decisioning, supply-chain integrity, and incident response, while also supporting field, support, security, and product teams. Candidates need at least five years of professional engineering experience, deep Linux systems knowledge, packaging and distribution expertise, systems-capable programming, infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD experience, and strong networking fundamentals. The position offers a $150,000–$159,000 salary range, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and remote work with 15–20% travel.
