VAST Data is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer focused on Defense Department and Intelligence Community accounts. The role serves as the primary technical advisor and technical lead, partnering with Sales and defense integrators to architect, position, validate, and deploy secure, high-performance VAST data platform solutions for AI/ML, ISR, cyber, analytics, HPC, GPU, hybrid, classified, and air-gapped environments. Responsibilities include requirements translation, solution architecture, discovery sessions, proof-of-value activities, benchmarks, and classified briefings. Candidates need 8+ years of DoD/IC pre-sales or systems engineering experience, strong SQL and database architecture knowledge, expertise in enterprise storage and AI/HPC infrastructure, and an active TS/SCI clearance, with polygraph preferred.
