Description
Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is hiring a System Safety Engineer to support missile launching system programs by performing system safety analysis and design support, requirements and interface analysis, operations analysis, system safety testing and verification, and collaboration with senior safety engineers. The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, physics, or a related technical discipline, at least three years of experience in system safety, systems, software, or a related field, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and AI prompting. Desired qualifications include radar or sonar development, electrical hardware design, requirements and model-based engineering tools, software development tools, MIL-STD-882E familiarity, and military or DoD customer experience. The position offers a full-time salary range of $85,300 to $158,300 and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
