Amazon is hiring a Technical Program Manager to own the delivery of rapid AI-powered engineering prototypes for government, healthcare, research, and critical infrastructure customers across Australia and New Zealand. The role works directly with software engineers and solutions architects to scope, plan, build, and ship AI-driven solutions, make technical trade-offs, manage concurrent engagements, qualify opportunities, architect for reuse, navigate regulated data and compliance requirements, and connect prototype outcomes to customer investment decisions. The position requires substantial technical product or program management, engineering, software development, and AI/ML experience, with additional experience in project management, compliance, enterprise modernization, technology transformation, public-sector domains, rapid prototyping, and scalable reuse preferred.
