Description
The Senior Technical Manager: Cryo-electron Microscopy will lead the operation, maintenance, optimisation and future development of UOW Research Infrastructure’s CryoEM facility and instrumentation. The role provides advanced training and technical support to researchers, students and external partners; develops cryoEM data-processing workflows and acquisition methods; collaborates on experimental design and structural-biology projects; and supervises staff while managing facility access and stakeholder engagement. It is a continuing full-time position at the Wollongong Campus, with a salary of $123,283–$152,959 plus 17% superannuation, and requires Australian work rights because visa sponsorship is unavailable.
