Description
The Senior Technical Operations Manager leads project managers, process engineers, and mechanical, electrical, and sub-assembly technicians executing complex custom web conversion, packaging, and coating machinery projects from order receipt through installation. The role oversees project delivery, resources, technical quality, safety, continuous improvement, budgets, and cross-functional coordination while managing a team of 23 direct reports. It requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or an equivalent technical background, at least 8 years of custom machinery or automation experience, and 5+ years of project management and technical leadership experience. The position is full-time, exempt, based in a normal office environment, requires less than 10% travel, and pays $190,000–$220,000 per year with medical, dental, vision, disability, retirement, and other benefits.
