Description
Amazon is hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager for its Differentiated Security Team to lead a program that identifies systemic security gaps from mergers and acquisitions and partner engagements, proves solutions in real environments, and transitions them to long-term owners. The role owns the program lifecycle, defines strategy and prioritization, coordinates cross-functional security, engineering, infrastructure, and compliance work, and presents investment recommendations to senior leaders. It requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or an equivalent field, at least six years of technical program management experience with software engineering teams, and experience with infrastructure, complex systems, systems engineering, roadmap strategy, technical design, and information security. The position is based in Austin, Texas, or Seattle, Washington, with a base salary of 148,700 to 201,200 USD annually.
