Description

AWS is hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager to support the delivery of AWS solutions for United States government and air-gapped customers. The role coordinates customer requirements with AWS Service Teams, sequences and reports on services and features, manages dependencies and risks, and improves delivery processes. Candidates need extensive technical product or program management experience, engineering-team experience, cross-functional program management experience, and an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance. The position is based in Arlington, Virginia, with a base salary of $148,700 to $201,200 annually.

Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams
5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams
Experience managing cross-functional programs, building processes, and coordinating release schedules
5+ years of experience working with Defense and National Security organizations
Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of project management experience across scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path
Experience managing cross-functional projects and coordinating release schedules
Experience defining KPIs and SLAs for multi-million-dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
