Google is hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager for Network Planning Systems to lead the software strategy for physical network planning tools, including capacity allocation, availability simulation, material demand planning, and edge network planning. The role owns the planning systems portfolio, defines long-term technical capabilities, leads cross-functional product and systems work, translates network architecture and capacity forecasts into requirements, and advocates for AI integration. The position requires a technical bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, 8 years of program management experience, and 8 years of experience in network capacity planning, software development, software implementation, or product roadmapping. Preferred qualifications include globally scaled program management, network architecture and routing experience, forecasting and stakeholder management, data-driven analysis, and executive communication. The role is based in Addison, Texas; Atlanta, Georgia; or Thornton, Colorado, with compensation of $192,000–$278,000 USD plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
