Rocket Lab Optical Systems is hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager II in Tucson, Arizona to lead EO/IR space missions, ground-based sensor networks, and related research. The role manages multiple government contracts and technical programs, mitigates risks, leads engineering teams through testing and resolution, communicates with customers and stakeholders, maintains integrated master schedules and earned-value metrics, and mentors junior staff. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree, at least eight years of experience managing technical projects for the U.S. Government, hands-on expertise with active optical systems, relevant space and electronics experience, and an active Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility; U.S. citizenship is required.
