Description

Amazon is hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager to own the complete lifecycle of test infrastructure for Amazon Leo's satellite and ground-system development. The role owns multi-year roadmaps and capital plans, leads lab infrastructure from requirements through commissioning, coordinates hardware, software, facilities, procurement, and construction teams, manages capital equipment and vendor relationships, resolves infrastructure outages, and reports performance metrics to senior leadership. The position requires at least five years of technical product or program management experience and is based in Redmond, Washington, with a base salary of 148,700 to 201,200 USD annually.

Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
Experience working directly with engineering teams on program delivery
Experience with project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk management, and critical path management
Experience building processes and coordinating release schedules across multiple teams

Experience managing capital equipment procurement with external vendors, including statements of work and long-lead delivery schedules
Experience partnering with facilities and construction teams on lab or cleanroom build-outs
Hardware and software integration and test experience
Experience defining key performance indicators and service level agreements used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
Proficiency using artificial intelligence tooling
