Description

Ping Identity is hiring a Senior Technical Writer to create, maintain, and improve technical documentation for its cloud and on-premise identity products. The role collaborates with subject matter experts, engineers, and product teams; translates complex technical concepts for end users, administrators, developers, integrators, and DevOps; and works in a Docs-as-Code environment using AsciiDoc, GitHub, markdown, version control, Jira, Confluence, and AI assistants. The position is open to remote or hybrid candidates in Denver, Colorado, or Austin, Texas, with a salary range of $95,000–$115,000.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Prior experience or exposure to software development and Agile methodologies
Experience managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and maintaining quality standards
Experience exploring unreleased features, testing early-stage software, and collaborating with engineering teams
Experience with markdown, version control, single-source techniques, metadata, and IDEs
Experience with Jira and Confluence or similar project management platforms
Experience using AI assistants for code generation, use case creation, draft summarization, and style guide checking
Understanding of documentation site publishing with Jenkins and Antora
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Docs-as-Code environment
Scripting or programming experience with Java, Bash, Python, or JavaScript
