Description
Micron is hiring a Semiconductor Lab Analyst to perform die and package materials characterization and physical failure analysis to support IC package and silicon technology development. The role uses techniques such as scanning acoustic microscopy, X-ray, cross-sectioning, scanning electron microscopy, and focused-ion-beam cross-sectioning, while also supporting laboratory materials, chemicals, tools, calibration, and housekeeping. Candidates need a diploma in mechanical engineering, chemical process or engineering, or materials science or engineering, plus 2–5 years of semiconductor or materials-science laboratory analysis experience.
