Trexquant is hiring a Senior Technologist to lead the design and evolution of core trading, research, and simulation infrastructure. The role involves architecting scalable, low-latency systems in Linux environments, building multi-asset simulation and backtesting platforms, optimizing data and compute infrastructure, integrating with order management systems, and mentoring engineers and researchers. Candidates need a STEM degree, at least six years of relevant infrastructure experience, and expert-level proficiency in C++, Java, or Python. The position is available for the Stamford and New York City offices, with the New York City office planned to open in October 2026, and offers a base salary of $175,000 to $200,000 plus bonus and fully covered health, dental, and vision insurance.
