Description
IMEG is hiring a Senior Technology Designer in Naperville or Chicago, Illinois, to lead the design and delivery of low-voltage building technology systems for moderate to highly complex projects. The role covers structured cabling, audiovisual, security, data center, wireless, and related ICT systems, including technical design, specifications, calculations, site assessments, quality control, client guidance, project budget support, mentoring, safety risk mitigation, and multidisciplinary coordination. A bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering, information technology, computer science, or STEM field plus at least 7 years of building design consulting experience, or an associate degree/certificate with at least 11 years of relevant consulting or construction experience, is required. The position requires up to 50% travel and does not offer visa sponsorship.
