Astro Mechanica is hiring a Senior Test Engineer to design, fabricate, operate, and improve test infrastructure for jet engine and subsystem hardware research and development. The role covers test-stand architecture, documentation, facility maintenance, data and video recording, equipment calibration, troubleshooting, harness assembly, and machine-shop work. Candidates need at least five years of experience with fluidic and mechanical systems, hazardous-environment safety knowledge, instrumentation and data-acquisition familiarity, and proficiency with PLCs and Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW.
