Intuitive is hiring a Senior Test Engineer for its New Product Verification Department to develop and execute test plans, protocols, and methods for robotic surgical instruments, accessories, endoluminal systems, and vision projects. The role includes design verification and life/reliability testing, test fixture development, failure investigation, root-cause analysis, test reporting, and training of test technicians. It requires at least six years of engineering or research experience, a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or biomedical engineering or a similar field, and medical device verification or validation experience; the position is based in Sunnyvale, California, with approximately 10% travel.
