Description
Impulse is hiring a Senior Test Hardware Engineer to design, build, deploy, and support reusable electrical test hardware for spacecraft test infrastructure. The role covers DAQ and control units, test carts, pressure controllers, thermal chamber support, power distribution, networking, and electrical interfaces, including schematics, wiring, documentation, procurement, integration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and coordination with software automation, IT, and test teams. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline and at least five years of hands-on experience with electrical test hardware or similar systems, with EPLAN and industrial automation experience preferred. Occasional travel to test sites is planned, and full-time hires may receive stock options, medical, vision, and dental coverage, and access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
