Description
The Test Operator will coordinate and execute propulsion, structural, vibration, and thermal test campaigns; operate and monitor test stands, propulsion hardware, and instrumentation; lead test procedures; analyze test data; troubleshoot instrumentation; support test-stand maintenance; coordinate with test, propulsion, manufacturing, and technician teams; mentor operations personnel; document and standardize SOPs; and lead specialized projects. The role requires at least five years of hardware-testing experience, knowledge of test components and data acquisition systems, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work outdoors and lift up to 25 pounds. Preferred qualifications include mechanical and fluid-system design, electrical and mechanical fabrication, pressurized-gas and liquid experience, NI hardware, test-facility commissioning, GIT or JSON experience, and aerospace test experience. The position involves ITAR-controlled technology and requires eligibility to comply with U.S. export controls.
