Description
Western Digital is hiring a Software Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering to develop, qualify, release, debug, and maintain test automation and conveyor system software for HDD component manufacturing. The role covers PLC integration, Visual C++ and Visual Basic development, hardware and instrumentation interfaces, system validation, OEE monitoring, documentation, and cross-functional quality and reliability activities. It requires software development or manufacturing automation experience, familiarity with object-oriented and multithreaded programming, and willingness to work in a cleanroom environment.
