Description
Lockheed Martin Space is hiring a full-time Senior Mechanical Engineer (Thermal Analysis) to support the Orion thermal analysis team. The role performs preliminary and detailed thermal analysis of spacecraft components and subsystems, models the entire spacecraft thermal system, prepares technical documentation, presents analysis results, supports flight testing and thermal cycle or TVAC activities, and collaborates with engineering disciplines to develop cost-effective thermal control solutions. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, or a related technical field, at least three years of related experience, knowledge of heat transfer and thermodynamics, and proficiency with CAD and thermal analysis tools.
