Portal Space Systems is hiring a Senior Thermal-Structural Analysis Engineer to substantiate spacecraft structures in high-temperature and thermally severe environments. The role develops coupled thermal–structural finite element models, performs thermo-mechanical stress, distortion, fatigue, and margin-of-safety analyses, evaluates high-temperature material behavior, supports propulsion-adjacent hardware verification, and develops Python-based automation tools. Candidates need a BS or MS in aerospace, mechanical, or a related engineering discipline and at least five years of thermal-structural or thermo-mechanical analysis experience.
