Description
Inversion is hiring a Senior Thermal Structures Engineer to own the detailed mechanical design and structural and thermal-structural analysis of heat shield and hot structure hardware for maneuverable reentry vehicles. The role covers concept through flight, including TPS panels, hot substructure, attachments, vehicle interfaces, testing, CAD models, drawings, and GD&T. It is an on-site position at Inversion headquarters in Playa Vista, California, requiring a bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering (or equivalent), typically 5+ years of aerospace hardware design experience, and eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret/Top Secret clearance.
