Description

SimSpace is hiring a Senior Threat Hunter to support global security teams through mentorship, assessment, technical consulting, and hands-on cyber defense exercises. The role owns complex incident-response scenarios from pre-sales through delivery and event execution, develops AI-agent and threat-hunting scenarios, and leads technical engagements for customers in the Asia Pacific market. It requires 6+ years of technical cybersecurity experience, including threat hunting, incident response, detection engineering, offensive security, or cyber threat intelligence, along with experience with enterprise security tools, telemetry analysis, and digital forensics. The position is hybrid in Singapore with regular regional onsite client travel and up to 25% estimated travel.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 6+ years of technical cybersecurity experience in Security Operations, Incident Response, Detection Engineering, Offensive Security/Red Team, or Cyber Threat Intelligence
Direct experience performing threat hunting in active corporate environments
Experience analyzing host, network, and application telemetry for indicators of attack
Experience with large datasets and log analysis tools including Splunk, Elastic, Python, Pandas, SQL, Hadoop, and Hue
Experience consuming and analyzing Cyber Threat Intelligence
Experience setting up and troubleshooting security stacks
Familiarity with offensive security strategies and assessment methodology
Hands-on experience hunting indicators of compromise in enterprise EDR and SIEM tools
Previous experience performing digital forensics or incident response on major security incidents
Preferred Qualifications: Experience generating cyber threat research and developing proposals for conference training and engagements
Deep understanding of AI agents, including agent decision loops, tool access frameworks, and memory systems
Ability to explain threat-hunting objectives and risk to mixed technical and non-technical audiences
