Description
AECOM is hiring a Senior Traffic Operations Engineer for a client facility in Detroit, Michigan. The role reports to on-site management and supports real-time traffic operations, traffic signal timing, before-after studies, traffic management systems, event analysis, reporting, and quality assurance. It includes on-site field work and is assigned to a PM Traffic Operations Engineer shift covering approximately 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with possible adjustments. The position requires a bachelor's degree plus six years of experience or equivalent education and experience, a Michigan Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain one within six months, a Michigan driver's license, and the ability to work independently and analyze CCTV and other video monitoring equipment.
