Description
Larimer County is hiring a Senior Treasurer's Technician for a front-counter role supporting walk-in taxpayers and performing head cashier duties. Responsibilities include preparing deposits, processing and posting checks, handling tax payments and receipts, calculating taxes and fees, researching public records, preparing tax certificates, processing redemptions and account balances, and handling tax-roll corrections, abatements, and refunds. The position requires three years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED supplemented by basic bookkeeping courses, cash-handling experience, and strong customer service and communication skills. It is scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the office in Fort Collins, Colorado, with no remote or hybrid work available.
