Description

Alertus is hiring a Product UX Designer to own the end-to-end design of its mass-notification platform, including scalable web and mobile design systems, branding, wireframes, prototypes, usability testing, and WCAG 2.1 AA-compliant interfaces. The role requires a strong portfolio, experience with design systems and modern prototyping tools, practical AI-assisted design experience, and at least five years of product-focused UX experience. Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field; equivalent professional experience and a strong portfolio may substitute.
Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of product-focused UX experience, including ownership of a design system used by a full engineering team.
Experience building and maintaining a component library or design system adopted by engineering.
Experience designing for WCAG 2.1 AA compliance.
Experience working closely with engineers and product managers.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience designing AI-assisted features in a production product.
Experience in emergency management, public safety, healthcare, education, or a similar high-stress software domain.
Experience running usability studies and user interviews to improve products.
