BNY is hiring a Senior Vice President, AI Engineer for its AI Garage team within Wealth Services in Jersey City, New Jersey. The role leads architecture and implementation of complex generative AI, agentic, knowledge, and data solutions; establishes engineering, observability, security, governance, and operational practices; partners with business and infrastructure stakeholders; and mentors engineers while maintaining hands-on delivery. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline or equivalent experience, 10–14 years of software, data, or AI engineering experience, extensive production AI systems experience, deep expertise in at least one listed AI or platform area, and a record of technical leadership without direct people management. The base salary is expected to be $120,000–$210,000 per year.
