Description
King County Information Technology is hiring a Senior Vulnerability Engineer to lead the technical execution of its enterprise vulnerability management program. The role manages vulnerability scanning, validates findings, prioritizes risks, coordinates remediation, supports emergency patching and incident response, and leads automation, reporting, process improvement, and program maturity initiatives. It requires at least four years of relevant information security experience, knowledge of vulnerability scanning and cloud security tools, and strong communication and cross-team leadership skills. The position is hybrid, primarily based in the Chinook Building in Seattle, Washington, with a Monday-through-Friday schedule and rotating after-hours support.
