First Table is hiring a full-time Senior Web Engineer to build customer-facing features for its restaurant discovery and booking platform. The role focuses on React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, GraphQL, and related frontend technologies, including responsive interfaces, reusable components, performance and accessibility improvements, A/B testing, and occasional React Native work. The position is based at Queenstown HQ or Auckland Remote in New Zealand and requires commercial frontend experience, strong engineering fundamentals, and the ability to own features from idea through production.
