Description
Powell is hiring a Senior Welder for its Southeast Houston manufacturing facility on a Monday–Thursday 5:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. schedule with overtime as needed. The role produces sheet-metal weldments from mechanical drawings, performs MIG, TIG, and stick welding, fits and grinds weldments, conducts quality inspections, maintains welding and cutting equipment, and follows the company’s quality and safety systems. The position requires at least grammar school education, English proficiency, blueprint and welding-symbol reading, sheet-metal MIG experience, and successful completion of an AWS D1.3 structural sheet-metal welding test.
