Description
The Senior Welding Engineer will lead welding engineering and development projects, prepare welding execution plans and procedure qualifications, coordinate with customers, certifying authorities, test houses, and technical agencies, support metallurgical and quality investigations, develop automatic welding systems, and mentor junior engineers. The role also manages the welding school facility and reviews vendor documents and bid qualifications. Required qualifications include an MS in Welding, a BS degree or IWE/EWE in a relevant engineering discipline, and at least five years of related welding engineering or metallurgy experience in fabrication or construction; welding inspection and TQM education are preferred.
