Amazon Robotics is hiring a Sensor System Engineer to serve as a cross-disciplinary subject matter expert bridging customer engagement, product strategy, and technical execution for machine vision systems. The role gathers customer requirements, defines product and sensor-roadmap priorities, contributes to sensor architecture, benchmarks sensing technologies, identifies technical risks, and collaborates with hardware, firmware, optical, mechanical, electrical, test, and manufacturing teams. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or systems field, at least five years of systems engineering or sensor development experience, and strong knowledge of imaging, depth sensing, LiDAR, ToF, or similar technologies. The position is based in North Reading, Massachusetts, with a base salary of 129,200 to 174,800 USD annually.
