Description
Bedrock Robotics is hiring a Sensor Systems Intern to analyze sensor selection and placement for new autonomous construction-machine platforms. The role involves evaluating coverage, occlusion, and blind spots; building tools for field-of-view, range, and coverage geometry; conducting trade studies; prototyping mounting concepts; validating assumptions on actual machines; and translating analysis into sensor requirements. Candidates should be pursuing an engineering or engineering-adjacent degree, have knowledge of 3D geometry and coordinate transforms, Python, CAD, and willingness to test sensor configurations at mock construction sites.
