SerDes IP's Applications Engineering, Sr Staff Engineer at Synopsys

Synopsys is seeking a customer-facing Applications Engineer to provide technical guidance and hands-on support for customers integrating PCI Express and High Speed SerDes interface IP into ASIC and SoC systems. The role covers integration reviews, troubleshooting RTL simulation, synthesis, floorplanning, timing closure, silicon bring-up, and system characterization; developing application notes and training; and collaborating with customers and R&D teams. Candidates need a master's degree and at least 10 years of industry experience in IP design, ASIC/SoC integration, or related customer-facing engineering roles, along with expertise in ASIC design flows, SerDes integration, RTL and gate-level debugging, and silicon bring-up.
