Google is hiring a SerDes Validation Engineer to own transmitter and receiver characterization and compliance testing for SerDes interfaces across next-generation compute and networking platforms. The role leads advanced receiver test methodologies, high-bandwidth instrumentation, test automation, and cross-functional root-cause analysis of link performance, while monitoring vendors and evaluating technologies. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 6 years of high-speed SerDes validation, physical-layer testing, or RF/high-speed measurement experience, plus 3 years of transmitter and receiver characterization experience.
