Sergeant at Mississippi Valley State University

The Sergeant will enforce local, state, and federal laws on Mississippi Valley State University, supervise and coordinate police officers and other department employees, conduct patrol and incident investigations, prepare reports and court documents, process evidence, provide public assistance, inspect personnel and equipment, and represent the department at community and business meetings. The role requires Mississippi law enforcement certification, a valid Mississippi driver's license, no domestic violence or felony convictions, no DUI record, and at least five years of law enforcement experience; three years of supervisory experience is preferred.
