Description

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is hiring an Enforcement Sergeant to supervise and coordinate law enforcement personnel across patrol, criminal investigations, traffic safety, forest patrol, and other specialized assignments. The role directs and trains subordinates, manages investigations and case plans, handles public complaints, prepares reports, and may act as a shift commander. Applicants must have four years of experience as a Certified Public Safety officer, current Basic Police Certification, and a current Supervisory Certification or obtain one within 36 months of appointment. The position pays $47.41–$63.56 hourly and includes medical and dental insurance with a 95% employer contribution, retirement benefits, paid leave, and other benefits.
