The Server Assistant supports service at Manhatta, a full-service restaurant and event space in Lower Manhattan. Responsibilities include setting up and resetting the dining room, setting and clearing tables, pouring water, running food, coordinating with servers and expediters, stocking the kitchen pass, and polishing glassware. The role requires at least one year of experience in a support role in a full-service restaurant, the ability to stand or walk for long periods, and the ability to balance and carry plates, glass racks, and objects weighing up to 30 pounds. The position pays $11.35 per hour plus tips and includes medical, dental, and vision insurance.
