Description
Epic is hiring a Server Systems Administrator for its Hosting team in the Madison, Wisconsin area. The role maintains operating systems, supports database administration, troubleshoots and debugs code, monitors system health, develops disaster and contingency plans, coordinates with third-party hardware vendors, and collaborates with developers, technical support, testers, and implementation specialists. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a hard science or related field, willingness to travel 1–2 weeks per year, U.S. work eligibility without visa sponsorship, relocation to the Madison area, availability for first-, second-, or third-shift work, and COVID-19 vaccination. Linux, Windows, virtualization, scripting, automation, or DevOps knowledge is a plus but not required.
