The Elevator Technician assists with complex maintenance, servicing, repair, and troubleshooting of elevators, dumbwaiters, and wheelchair lifts. Responsibilities include investigating electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems, performing preventive maintenance and safety-device tests, evaluating equipment modifications, and completing related duties. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, physical ability to work in confined and hazardous elevator environments, and on-call availability for emergencies.
