Description
ABB is hiring a Control Software Engineer for its Service center in Spain to provide first-level software support for ABB converters, troubleshoot customer software issues, adapt and extend existing software, test and support commissioning and homologation, and coordinate technical solutions. The role is onsite at the customer’s site, requires extensive travel, and may involve night shifts and weekend work. Candidates need a relevant university degree, at least four years of software development experience in closed-loop control and related areas, experience with IEC 61131-3/CODESYS and MATLAB/Simulink, knowledge of versioning and communication protocols, and strong English and Spanish communication skills.
