Description
Freedom is hiring a permanent Service Engineer to maintain and manage high-voltage switchgear and power transformers across the United Kingdom, primarily in power stations and industrial environments. The role involves service and maintenance work, asset management, method statements, risk assessments, and occasional wider services-team support. It is not remote; the engineer will travel UK-wide and spend most of the time away from home Monday to Friday. A HNC in Electrical Engineering or similar is preferred, along with electrical and mechanical engineering expertise, health and safety knowledge, communication skills, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
