Description
The role assists with repairs and modifications to trucks and trailers, including flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead welding; torch, handheld plasma, and air-arc operations; blueprint reading; trailer repair; and minimal assembly. The position requires at least one year of post-secondary or technical-institute weld certification or weld experience in a manufacturing environment, accurate use of measuring tools, and basic math skills. The work involves standing, walking, climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, working at heights up to 12 feet, and exposure to dust, fumes, and moving machinery.
